Frontend / Delivery server

A frontend server (delivery) is an additional option for delivering and receiving forms. The use of a frontend server enables a clear separation of the networks. This means that the frontend server can be located in the DMZ, while the formcycle server is operated in the intranet. In contrast to the formcycle server, the frontend server does not have an administration interface and does not require access to internal systems such as databases, specialised procedures or LDAP servers. In addition, the formcycle server can be used to configure which forms are to be made available via which server.
